St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is a private hospital in St Johns Wood, moments walk from St Johns Wood tube station. The hospital is Londons leading charitable hospital, and uniquely its business model is that all profits are used to part fund an NHS commissioned hospice, St Johns Hospice, which is an integral part of the hospitals estate. St Johns Hospice provides high quality, holistic care to those with life-limiting illnesses and their families across North London, all completely free of charge.
The hospital is developing its paediatric services further to provide a day case surgical pathway from April 2025! We are initially treating minor and moderate complexity surgery, for clinically well children, above the age of 3.
To support this pathway and ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality care, the hospital seeks post-FRCA stage 2 or 3 trainees, who have completed Stage 2 paediatric competencies, or equivalent.
Applicants need to be EPALS or APLS providers at the point at which they commence work for the hospital.
St John & St Elizabeth Hospital has an ever-increasing paediatric demand within its Urgent Care Centre, as well as within its dedicated paediatric outpatient department.
There is opportunity for strategic growth within children and young peoples services and successful applicants are encouraged to be a part of this exciting journey!
