Key Responsibilities of the Computer Studies Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality Computer Studies lessons across relevant Key Stages. Support students in developing skills in coding, programming, and digital technologies. Inspire learners through engaging, practical, and real‑world applications of computing concepts. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages progress for all learners. Requirements for the Computer Studies Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Computer Studies / Computing at school level. Strong subject knowledge, including programming and ICT fundamentals. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
