Inbound Operations Manager - Parts Distribution Sheffield | £50,000 benefits Permanent | Full-time | On-site The role: Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for all inbound activity across a busy distribution centre, managing everything from container arrivals and goods receipt to putaway, space management, and supplier issues. Key responsibilities include: Leading the inbound team and setting daily priorities Ensuring timely, accurate booking-in and stock handling Liaising with suppliers and hauliers to coordinate deliveries Driving process improvement across receiving, QC, and putaway Working closely with inventory and purchasing to flag discrepancies and shortages Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times What we're looking for: Proven experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment Strong understanding of parts, inventory, or technical products Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment Confident using ERP or WMS systems (ideally barcoding/scanning) A hands-on, solutions-focused approach - someone who can spot an issue and sort it Based in or commutable to Sheffield
