Job Description: Technical Delivery Manager
Job Objective:As a Project Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end technical delivery of business solutions and new system capabilities. You will ensure that all technical components are designed, built, tested, and deployed within schedule and in alignment with enterprise quality and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery Planning: Plan all technical deliverables, including system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring they meet project requirements for schedule and quality.
* Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with Architects and Development Leads to ensure designs comply with enterprise principles and security controls.
o Work with System Analysts to finalize functional and technical requirements.
o Partner with Development Managers to oversee application teams during the build phase.
* Dependency & Risk Management: Monitor and manage technical dependencies across various application teams. Identify, track, and mitigate risks/issues impacting delivery.
* Testing Oversight: Partner with the Test Manager to ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing, and security testing.
* Implementation & Cutover: Develop and manage the technical implementation plan. Coordinate activities across teams to ensure "non-event" production cutovers and robust post-implementation support.
* Reporting: Provide regular status updates to Program/Project Managers and escalate schedule-impacting issues with proposed workarounds.
Key Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills:
* Total Experience: No less than 8 years in systems development (including coding, functional/technical specs, and testing).
* Leadership: At least 3 years of experience leading IT delivery teams.
* Industry Context: Minimum 5 years delivering global/regional IT capabilities for multi-national companies.
* Banking Domain: Previous experience in the banking industry is a plus.
* Tech Stack: Familiarity with Java Spring Boot and Microservices is highly advantageous.
* Methodology: Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and large-scale project implementations.

* Communication: Highly effective in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Solutioning: Strong analytical, system-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Drive: Proven result-oriented focus with a track record of successful deliveries.
Education & Qualifications
* Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related domain.
* Certification: Related professional or technical qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.
