Talent Acquisition Partner – Fixed term contract for 6 months
The Talent Acquisition team at Kainos are responsible for end-to-end delivery aligned to hiring demands. Based in locations across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and North America, the team focuses on direct sourcing channels to create a best-in-class candidate experience in the most cost-effective way.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner (Senior Associate), you will work closely with team members to manage the attraction and acquisition of high‑calibre talent. You will provide a best-in-class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for recruitment at Kainos internally and externally.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering against recruitment delivery plans – support the recruitment delivery plan aligned to commercial priorities and workforce plans, understanding delivery demands for each location and executing hiring strategies for permanent experienced hires.
* Ensuring best‑in‑class execution – strive to deliver a best‑in‑class candidate experience in line with global process, Kainos values, and our governance framework.
* Managing costs – ensure delivery is on time and in the most cost‑effective manner, managing recruitment through a ‘direct first’ approach and, if required, pipelines through supplier relationships.
* Reporting, Management Information (MI) and analytics – use MI and reporting to have data‑driven discussions with key stakeholders, ensuring the recruitment process meets key SLA’s and identifying any blockers or escalations to avoid impact on time to hire.
* Driving brand awareness strategies to impact talent pipeline – plan brand awareness strategies to leverage talent attraction, ensuring talent pooling and candidate engagement/CRM are consistently employed. Act as a brand ambassador and role model, maintaining an active personal brand profile on social channels and contributing best‑practice knowledge.
* Tooling – keep abreast of innovations in tooling across the market, continuously improving knowledge of key tooling techniques such as LinkedIn, bullion searching, and accessing the widest pools of talent available in the quickest time.
* Working as a team – actively participate in team‑wide knowledge sharing of best practice, share market intel on trends and talent, support team‑wide projects and wider People projects as required, and be the trusted strategic advisor for Talent Acquisition to your aligned capabilities.
Qualifications:
* Educated to degree level.
* Experienced IT recruiter from an in‑house Talent Acquisition team or a technical lead recruiter within an agency.
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills with the ability to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders of different seniority levels.
* Ability to manage sourcing strategies and external suppliers as required.
* Confident using MI to drive data‑driven commercial discussions with stakeholders and meeting KPI’s set for recruitment delivery.
* A proactive team player with strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.
* An appetite for supporting continuous improvement opportunities in end‑to‑end processes to benefit operational efficiency and best practice.
* Experience supporting the delivery of a Talent Acquisition strategy in a fast‑paced environment.
* Commercial acumen and knowledge of market trends and talent sourcing strategies.
* Advanced knowledge of recruitment tooling systems and ATS platforms such as LinkedIn, bullion search techniques, and the MS Office suite of software.
* A proven ability to work independently and within a team, including working in a multi‑disciplinary function.
