Job Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and engaged Legal Assistant to join our fast-paced Residential Conveyancing Client Onboarding Team based in our Cardiff city centre office. This role will provide valuable support to the residential conveyancing team, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

* Discussing fees with clients and supporting them with their queries.
* Onboarding clients and opening files, including set up on our case management system.
* Supporting the team with administrative tasks associated with the new transaction process e.g. obtaining title deeds and issuing sales contracts.
* Liaising with existing and prospective clients, answering and resolving their queries where relevant.
* Providing an excellent level of customer service to our customers.
* Dealing with third parties such as estate agents and solicitors, as part of the new transactions process.
* Interacting with solicitors within the firm from time to time, providing clarification on any queries or issues.
* Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

* Well organised with ability to prioritise workload.
* Ability to work accurately with a good attention to detail.
* Able to use Microsoft Office packages and good typing skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Resilient and calm under pressure.
* Excellent keyboard and word processing skills.
* Possess high levels of speed and accuracy.
* Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients on the telephone.
* Friendly and helpful team player.
