Location: Barnsley
We are currently seeking an experienced Factory Labourer to join a small, friendly manufacturing business in Barnsley due to continued expansion. This role is ideal for someone with a background in manual machine operation and a strong work ethic.
Details and Benefits:
* £14.49ph (negotiable depending on experience)
* Monday to Thursday, 5pm – 3:30am (long weekends!)
* Permanent contract available after 12 weeks
* Work for a well-established and growing company
Duties include:
* Manufacturing product in a fast-paced production environment
* Machine setting and operating (automated/manual saws, CNC and manual routers)
* Feeding, assembling, polishing, crimping, welding, etching, grinding
* Producing final products to a high standard
* Maintaining general housekeeping and performing various duties as needed
Skills required:
* Minimum 2 years of manual machine operating experience
* Numerate and literate
* Physically fit with experience in manual roles
* Ability to work under own initiative and meet deadlines
* High attention to detail and quality
* Team player with a hardworking and dedicated attitude
