Overview
This role is centred on providing high‑quality technical and application support across our core business systems, including (but not limited to) our Housing Management, Finance Management and Asset Management systems. You’ll use your problem‑solving skills and technical expertise to diagnose issues, optimise system performance and ensure our colleagues can rely on the applications they use every day.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering 2nd line application support and collaborating across ICT for a seamless service.
* Building smart business solutions using M365 tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Dynamics.
* Working with vendors to fix issues and roll out enhancements.
* Supporting upgrades, patches and UAT with clear, reusable test scripts.
* Helping shape and maintain data retention policies with Governance and data owners.
* Managing system admin tasks – from access changes to general upkeep.
* Leading ICT input on business projects, offering technical insight and driving delivery.
* Spotting opportunities to streamline systems and improve processes.
* Exploring new tech and recommending fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
* Creating user guides and delivering training for new tools and features.
* Producing security reports and advising on access controls.
* Attending user groups, product webinars and other networking groups to share ideas and discuss best practice.
About you
Essential:
* Solid experience supporting and implementing integrated applications, with strong CRM and housing systems knowledge.
* Business Systems Analysis experience including requirements gathering, process mapping, process analysis and improvement.
* Proven ability to deliver high‑quality projects on time with a documented approach.
* Confident in communicating with non‑technical stakeholders, asking the right questions to uncover both the “what” and the “why” of business needs.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with the wider M365 suite.
* A collaborative approach – great with colleagues and external partners alike.
* Proactive, hands‑on and able to juggle priorities effectively.
* A passion for continuous improvement and learning.
Desirable:
* Asset management and repairs experience, including experience of using systems and applications.
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Experience supporting housing‑related ICT applications and users.
* Hands‑on with Microsoft Power Platform for solution development.
