Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the electrical designs, functional design specifications, factory, site, and software testing across a range of HV projects. They should have extensive experience in power systems design and may have exposure to various industries. The role involves reviewing documentation from other engineers, supporting junior engineers' development, and liaising with cross-functional teams and third-party contractors.
The candidate may need to travel occasionally, approximately once per quarter, possibly internationally (e.g., China, France, London).
Skills
* Proven experience in electrical design engineering
* Extensive exposure to power systems
* Experience with AutoCAD, Asys, C/C++, and Modbus is beneficial; other design packages are welcome
* Knowledge of ISO standards
* Experience with industrial networking protocols including Ethernet and Profibus
* HV experience is essential
* Good understanding of motors, switching devices, and electrical systems
* Experience with factory or on-site testing
* Positive attitude, self-starter
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 9 am – 3 pm, with 3.5 hours worked on Friday.
