Job Description:

New Business Developer – Consultancy Services

This role is for a new business specialist responsible for generating opportunities for a B2B consulting service. The responsibilities include identifying and qualifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. It offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in a dynamic environment.


Role Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients via LinkedIn, industry databases, and online sources.
2. Lead Qualification: Assess inbound and outbound leads based on predefined criteria to determine fit and needs.
3. Cold Calling & Emailing: Create personalized outreach messages to engage prospects.
4. Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings with decision-makers at target companies.
5. Lead Nurturing: Develop campaigns to build relationships and move prospects through the sales funnel.


Data and Reporting:

* CRM Management: Keep accurate records of all activities.
* Collaboration: Work with management, marketing, and other teams to ensure sales efficiency.
* Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
* Pipeline Management: Manage leads and track progress towards targets.
* Data Management: Maintain sales records and create reports/dashboards.


Skills Required:

* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in professional services or M&A sector (preferred).
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
* Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to build rapport and increase sales.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
