Job Title: Residential Children's Home Support Worker This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified candidate to join the team in one of our children’s residential homes. We specialize in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early-life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviors.
Shift Planning : Coordinate shifts with Residential Support Workers to ensure smooth operations.
Risk Management : Safely manage risks in line with company policies and procedures.
Progress Documentation : Use paperless systems to document and report the progress of young people.
Training : Participate in an in-depth quality training package to support your professional development.
Advocacy : Act as an advocate for young people while using a positive parenting model.
Positive Support Strategies : Work with young people using de-escalation techniques and other positive support strategies (e.g., PRICE training).
Sound knowledge of current legislation, such as Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards).
Full Manual Driving Licence.
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Commitment to CPD : Willingness to participate in further professional development to meet the needs of young people.
