Teaching Assistant – SEN School (Full-Time, September Start)
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our supportive SEN school team this September.
This is a full-time role, ideal for individuals who are committed to helping students achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your role will involve both one-to-one and small group support, helping students to engage with their learning and develop key life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students in the classroom and during activities
Assisting with personalised learning plans
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
What We’re Looking For:
A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Experience working in education settings. We will also consider applicants who have experience with children in a care setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
