We're working with a Bristol TechCo, a global leader of application software for the international healthcare insurance sector, looking to recruit a Technical Services Consultant with cloud and DevOps experience. Working as part of a joint company/client team, this client facing role will be predominantly home based but with occasional travel to client sites in the UK and overseasand to the Bristol head office.

Whats involved?
Provide technical consultancy to clients and inside the organisation in the deployment and usage of our software
Define the technical architecture for the integration of software within Client and 3 rd party strategic partners ecosystems. This includes defining Integration Strategy, completing gaps analysis, interface design, security analysis and software selection
Plan, implement and manage data migration activities from client existing systems / applications
Define infrastructure architecture for implementation projects on-premise and on SaaS for software, hardware, and network requirements
Participate in implementation projects, owning technical work-streams including liaison with clients on their development and infrastructure activities.
Understanding and supporting smooth release delivery and installations for clients
Deploy and Configure software solutions and IDHP releases in cloud environments
With the Technical Services Manager, identify the Cloud and On Premise requirements for Configuration, Deployment and Monitoring tools. Define acceptance criteria and approve or reject new releases
What are we looking for?
Strong client facing skills, a software development or deployment background in Microsoft technologies and experience throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Experience of requirements gathering
Ability to document requirements, solutions, and infrastructure architecture design
Proven experience in delivery of SaaS projects including technical infrastructure, environments, networks, security processes and associated compliance / regulation with associated service offerings to support SaaS model
Implemented APIs to provide a service-oriented architecture
Installation and configuration of services and applications on Microsoft and or Linux server/network/platforms
Data migration skills
System integration design and experience in integrating with 3 rd parties
Security best practices and understanding of data protection issues
Thorough knowledge of database systems, e.g., SQL Server including T-SQL, Mongo DB
Excellent written and oral communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
