Are you a strong Duty Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor keen to build on your existing managerial skills within the leisure and hospitality industry?
Fusion Lifestyle’s Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring each shift runs smoothly across all areas of the centre. As a Team Leader you will provide management coverage across the facility, supporting operations wherever needed and ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service.
This role is varied and hands-on, combining front of house leadership with bar service responsibilities, meaning you will be involved in welcoming customers, managing the reception environment, and supporting the smooth running of the centre’s bar operations when required. You’ll also ensure team members are deployed effectively across the building and that communication within the team remains clear and consistent throughout the shift.

The role operates on a shift rota which includes evenings and alternating weekend work, ensuring management coverage across the centre during busy operational periods.
To be successful as a Team Leader, you will need previous supervisory or management experience within the leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer service industries, along with excellent communication and people skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude – nothing is too much trouble for you.
You will also need AED and First Aid at Work qualifications as a minimum or a National Pool Lifeguarding qualification (NPLQ).
Other responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):
1. Acting as Duty Manager as and when required
2. Providing a welcoming and professional front of house presence at all times
3. Supporting bar operations and service when required as part of the centre’s hospitality offer
4. Assuming responsibility for centre operations on a shift rotation basis, including key holding and opening and/or closing the centre
5. Coordinating the efficient and effective deployment of the team across all operational areas
6. Undertaking fitness instruction, reception, and/or membership sales where required
7. Cash reconciliation and banking duties
8. Assisting in the development and management of a well-balanced activity and event programme
9. Delivering induction, training, appraisals, development and performance management of staff where required
10. Conducting team briefings (huddles)
11. Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and potential customers
