GSL Education are excited to appoint a Geography Teacher to schools in the Sheffield (S2, S3) area, delivering lessons that spark curiosity about local and global issues. In this role, the Geography Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop map skills, environmental awareness, and critical thinking, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Prime Responsibilities: Plan and deliver well-structured geography lessons in line with the curriculum. Encourage pupils to think critically about social, environmental, and global topics. Maintain positive behaviour and an effective learning atmosphere. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives. Requirements of Geography Teacher: Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching geography in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
