Role Overview:
This is more than a teaching post - it's a leadership opportunity. You'll play a key role in curriculum planning, departmental development, and supporting students through the critical GCSE years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Lead the planning and delivery of the GCSE Science curriculum
* Monitor progress and implement targeted interventions for the GCSE cohort
* Actively participate in departmental and whole-school staff meetings
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging schemes of work and assessment strategies
* Contribute to whole-school initiatives and pastoral care
What You Bring:
* QTS and a strong academic background in science
* Proven experience teaching GCSE Science with excellent outcomes
* Confidence in curriculum planning and data-driven decision making
