A specialist educational trust in the heart of the Surrey countryside near Cranleigh is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and therapeutic environment with a focus on developing essential life skills and fostering independence for learners aged 5 to 19 who have needs including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and communication challenges.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be at the heart of this work, supporting students to access a tailored curriculum and engage with the world around them. You will work closely with teachers and a team of on-site therapists to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Your days will be varied and rewarding, involving classroom support, therapy session assistance, and helping students develop practical life skills in the wider community.


Responsibilities

Qualifications

* Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training and ongoing professional development will be provided.
