Paramount Personnel are recruiting for an experienced maintenance/facilities manager, for our client, a stunning 5* Hotel in Oban, West Scotland. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will have overall responsibility for the internal and external maintenance of all buildings and engineering services across the resort in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, ensuring a high standard of appearance and smooth running for the enjoyment and comfort of guests.
Main duties and responsibilities to include;
6. Liaise daily with all departments and deal appropriately with any maintenance issues raised, giving priority to those issues which compromise Health & Safety or security.
7. Liaise productively with contractors and suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective outcomes for the business.
8. Carry out work on ad hoc projects using your skills and knowledge to ensure the most efficient and effective outcome for the hotel.
9. Use, operate and store all tools, equipment and materials safely and securely to comply with statutory regulations, COSHH
10. Respond to call-outs in line with rota and department standard practice.
Proficiency in trade work is essential, including plumbing/electricals and general maintenance work.
Due to the location, driving is preferred, although not essential given the live in nature.
