Senior Clinical Manager – Broadmoor High Secure Hospital, West London NHS Trust
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Clinical Manager on a full‑time permanent contract.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for the direct delivery of high‑quality individualised care across multiple wards and areas, meeting approved standards and processes.
* Provide operational leadership, ensuring performance, quality, safety and service development in line with Trust policies.
* Maintain a highly visible presence within clinical areas and be readily available for staff and patients.
* Directly line manage Clinical Nurse Managers, Site Managers, BAME Transitional Lead and Central Rostering team, ensuring line‑management, supervision, training compliance and performance management.
* Ensure systematic maintenance and management of nurse performance and adherence to professional nursing and clinical standards.
* Promote and monitor delivery of high‑quality nursing care, preserving a therapeutic, clean and safe environment.
* Manage resources through clinical nurse managers, site management and central rostering.
* Support the Service Director in delivering quality and patient safety priorities within the service and Trust Business and Clinical Governance Plans.
* Lead Clinical Improvement, Quality Improvement, Care Programme Approach implementation, service user/carer involvement, clinical supervision and professional standards of care.
* Oversee security standards, ensure completion of security audit action plans within set timescales.
* Ensure wards maintain accreditation as learning placements for student nurses.

Applicants should demonstrate necessary experience, commitment to multidisciplinary working, a proven track record, highly visible leadership and strong operational skills to undertake this role.
