A long-standing and highly reputable Oxfordshire publishingpany is looking for a Finance Analyst with experience in business intelligence, financial reporting and data analysis. The role will involve working with tools such as Excel and Power BI to support reporting, develop dashboards, improve data accessibility and contribute to process improvements, whilst working closely with finance, operations and senior leadership teams.
Your new role
1. Producing regular financial and operational reports using Excel and Power BI
2. Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reporting tools
3. Analysing financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
4. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
5. Automating reporting and improving data workflows and efficiency
6. Maintaining accurate datasets across financial and operational systems
7. Providing insight-led analysis to support senior leadership decisions
8. Supporting continuous improvement of reporting processes and data quality
9. Delivering ad-hoc analysis to drivemercial and operational oues
What you'll need to succeed
10. Experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role
11. Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, or data analytics
12. Advanced Excel skills (including formulas and financial modelling)
13. Experience building Power BI dashboards (or similar BI tools)
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
15. Ability to interpretplex datasets and present clear, actionable insights
16. Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
17. Confidentmunicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
