BMS Project ManagerBanbridgeFull-time | MondayThursday 8am5pm, Friday 8am3pmCompetitive Salary (DOE)Benefits:Full training and career development opportunitiesCompetitive pension schemeLife assuranceHealth cash planFree annual health checks30 days annual leave increasing with serviceEmployee social events and wellbeing initiativesFree secure onsite parkingComplimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate & fruitFriendly and supportive working environmentKenect Recruitment is delighted to be working with our client, a leading organisation within the engineering and building services sector, to recruit an experienced BMS Project Manager for their Head Office in Banbridge.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking business delivering high-quality projects across the UK and Ireland.Role Overview:The BMS Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation of all BMS / Controls containment, cabling, terminations, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems within modern assembly facilities.Working closely with the wider project team, you will supervise the full BMS lifecycle from installation through to handover and post-completion performance, ensuring systems are fully integrated, efficient, and aligned with project and client requirements.You will also play a key role in maintaining quality standards across all BMS works, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, project specifications, and industry best practice.Key Responsibilities:Attend daily and weekly progress meetings to review status, upcoming works, and risks to programme deliveryReview BMS engineering scope, specifications, drawings, and control strategiesPlan, coordinate, and oversee BMS installation, testing, and commissioning activitiesManage BMS subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance standards are metAssess labour and subcontractor resource requirementsEnsure materials are available, compliant, and effectively managed on siteMaintain document control, drawing revisions, redlines, and as-installed recordsLead QA checks, inspections, ITPs, and commissioning documentationCoordinate and witness FAT, SAT, FOAK, and point-to-point testingEnsure RAMS are in place and HSEQ procedures are followed at all timesProduce regular progress reports and 4-week look-ahead programmesLiaise with Operations, Quality teams, and other contractors to ensure seamless deliverySupport O&M manuals, handover packs, and final documentationPrioritise workload to meet project milestones and commissioning deadlinesEssential Requirements:Relevant qualification in Electrical / Building Services / Controls Engineering (NVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent)Strong knowledge of BMS systems and controls integrationExperience in electrical installation, containment, cabling, and terminationsGood understanding of commissioning processes including FAT / SAT / point-to-point testingFamiliarity with HSEQ procedures, RAMS, and safe systems of workExcellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written EnglishDesirable:Electrical qualification in installation / engineering / controls18th EditionInspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)HNC / HND in Building ServicesSSSTS / SMSTSIf you are interested in this opportunity please send your CV via the link provided or call Naomi at Kenect Recruitment on for further information.WHJS1_NI
