You will plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, drive brand positioning, and lead marketing strategies that engage audiences worldwide. The role offers a salary of £35,000–£40,000 per annum depending on experience, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 working from home), and the chance to travel in the UK and internationally as part of your remit. This is a fantastic role for an ambitious and self-motivated Marketing Manager ready to take the lead on an established brand while exploring new ways to reach and engage international audiences. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor the company’s image in the marketplace and uphold brand values * Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to promote subscriptions, events, and publications * Plan media activity, negotiate rates, and measure response to maximise ROI * Build effective email marketing programmes with strong segmentation and targeting * Oversee data management and maintain clean, accurate subscription records * Evaluate live campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance * Manage the company’s online presence, including website updates, SEO, and social media strategy * Devise and implement marketing plans for international events and exhibitions * Identify and select internal and external data to target key audiences effectively * Manage paid search campaigns and track budgets * Produce clear reporting on marketing metrics and performance for the Managing Director * Lead development of online communities and engagement strategies * Work with editorial teams to create engaging content and topical features Experience Required: * Minimum of 3 years’ marketing experience across Events, Publishing, or Research portfolios * Background in direct marketing, ideally within conferences or a B2B environment * Strong knowledge of digital marketing, online product development, and new media * Understanding of database marketing principles * Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms * Skilled in working with creative agencies, printers, and external partners * Knowledge of CMS systems and web basics (HTML, JavaScript) * Proficiency with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp * Excellent writing skills for producing brochures, press releases, and marketing copy * Ability to combine creative thinking with data-driven decision making * A positive, proactive attitude and the confidence to drive forward new ideas * Fluency in a European language is desirable but not essential
