Job Purpose
You will be responsible for the smooth operation and growth of one of our Dulux Decorator Centres. This involves maintaining excellent retail and operational standards, overseeing in-store activities to meet commercial plans, developing your team, and expanding your business locally to increase market share.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, with shifts between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. You will also work some Saturday shifts (8 am to 4 pm) on a rotational basis, with time off in lieu.
Job Responsibilities
1. Engage your team to maintain high service levels that differentiate the store from competitors.
2. Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to develop talent.
3. Model AkzoNobel's Values & Leadership Behaviours.
4. Ensure the right culture, processes, and controls are in place to protect staff, customers, and assets.
5. Manage your store's P&L, focusing on increasing sales, optimizing margins, controlling costs, and preventing stock and cash losses.
6. Ensure customers are welcomed warmly, receive informed conversations, and personalized proposals.
7. Review performance and implement improvements to achieve market-leading results.
