Role Summary
The Recruitment Administrator supports the end‑to‑end recruitment cycle across Network Rail, ensuring high‑quality candidate experience and effective data protection compliance.
Role Details
* Vacancy type: 12‑month fixed‑term contract
* Location: Manchester Square One (hybrid; 3 days in office)
* Hours: up to 35 hours per week with required travel
* Salary & Band: Band 6 – £24,479.00 per annum
* Closing date: midnight on Thursday 4 December 2025 (late applicants not accepted)
Main Responsibilities
* Administrate the full recruitment cycle: shortlisting, interview and assessment scheduling, onboarding processes, and pre‑employment checks.
* Coordinate assessment centres and support the recruitment team across the UK.
* Maintain accurate candidate data and audit trails, ensuring data protection legislation compliance.
* Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders and manage shared inbox queries.
* Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to meet recruitment performance KPIs.
Ideal Candidate
* Excellent communication: able to convey changes to stakeholders, build trust, and create an engaging environment.
* Organisation and prioritisation: meets deadlines and adheres to SLAs and KPIs.
* Attention to detail: produces accurate reports and audits with a first‑time approach.
* Customer focus: handles queries professionally with concise written and verbal communication.
* Understanding of Data Protection Legislation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
What Could Set You Apart
* Practical recruitment lifecycle experience (shortlisting, interviews, onboarding, checks).
* Experience in a high‑volume shared services or recruitment environment.
* Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
