The Opportunity:
1. This is a full fee-earning role with a genuine opportunity for autonomy. You’ll take full ownership of your own caseload, managing complex Court of Protection matters and meeting clear billing targets — all with the support of a collaborative and experienced team behind you.

Key Responsibilities:
4. Managing your own Court of Protection caseload from start to finish
5. Meeting agreed billing and time-recording targets
6. Preparing Deputyship and statutory applications
7. Liaising directly with clients, attorneys, care providers, and families
8. Handling day-to-day financial matters including budgeting, payments, and care fees
9. Conducting client visits where needed (a full UK driving licence and business insurance are required)
10. Preparing reports and ensuring full compliance with OPG standards
11. Representing the department externally and contributing to its continued growth
What We’re Looking For
Essential
12. Experience running your own caseload in a fee-earning capacity
13. Strong billing record and ability to meet performance targets
14. Solid understanding of Court of Protection or Private Client law
15. High levels of self-motivation, independence, and organisation
16. Compassionate and confident when dealing with vulnerable clients
17. Excellent written and verbal communication
18. Proficient with case management systems and IT
Desirable
19. Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
20. Familiarity with SOS Connect or similar CMS
21. Knowledge of compliance and data protection best practices
