About the Role
Location options include Salford (M50 3SP), Staines (TW18 3DZ), London (EC2R 7HJ), Leeds (LS5 3BF), or Brighton (BN1 4FY). We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements. This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with a starting salary from £70,000 (negotiable based on experience and location), plus a 10% bonus and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the full lifecycle of security tooling, ensuring effective deployment, configuration, and compliance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to align tools with operational needs.
* Manage and prioritize engineering backlog using agile methodologies.
* Maintain tooling lifecycle, including renewals and PoC/PoV activities.
* Manage vendor relationships and ensure best practices.
* Optimize tool configurations and track total cost of ownership.
* Define technology roadmaps and identify tooling efficiencies.
* Drive innovation and automation within cyber defense tooling.
* Line manage product analysts and coordinate with IT teams for enterprise-wide deployment.
* Maintain documentation and establish KPIs for delivery and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related field.
* Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, GCTI, GREM, CEH); Agile/PM certifications are a plus.
* Extensive cybersecurity experience, preferably in regulated environments.
* Hands-on experience with tools like Tenable, Qualys, Wiz, AttackIQ.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).
* Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Decisive, discreet, and able to work under pressure.
* Self-motivated, organized, and capable of prioritizing effectively.
* Leadership experience is highly beneficial.
