Knowledge, skills and training
Essential criteria
1. RMN or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker
2. Current NMC (or other relevant professional body) registration
3. Further evidence of professional development and training
4. E.N.B 998 or Mentors Course/ learning and assessing course
5. Previous experience working as a Band 6
6. Advanced skills and expertise in assessment, clinical risk management and client centred interventions
Job Specific experience
Essential criteria
7. Demonstrable post registration experience of working with people with acute mental illness
8. Experience of CPA and Risk Assessment and Management
9. Knowledge of Adult and Child safeguarding
10. Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment programmes
11. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983
12. Working knowledge of NMC Code of Professional Conduct
13. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
14. Ability to think creatively and problem solve
15. Time management skills
Desirable criteria
16. Previous Community Experience
17. Ability to facilitate/co-facilitate therapeutic and recreational groups and activities
18. Experience of audit and service development
