Position Overview:We are looking for a talented and experienced Mid-Level Data Scientist/Data Analyst to lead the development and operation of our automated ingestion system. If you thrive in a dynamic, agile environment and have a knack for designing sophisticated data ingestion pipelines with advanced ML components, this role is ideal for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Automated Ingestion System Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of efficient, scalable, and reliable data ingestion pipelines.
* ML Component Integration: Incorporate state-of-the-art machine learning components into data pipelines to enhance data processing and analysis.
* Data Quality and Metrics: Develop data quality metrics and dashboards to monitor and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
* Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other team members in an agile environment to meet project goals and deadlines.
* Innovation: Utilize modern NLP techniques to improve data understanding and processing, staying updated with latest developments in data science and engineering.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in developing complex data ingestion pipelines with ML components; experience in insurance sector is a plus.
* Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Pandas
- Experience with modern NLP techniques and tools
- Ability to create and manage data quality metrics and dashboards
- Experience working in a multifunctional agile team
- Proficiency in Git for version control
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance data challenges is highly desirable.
* Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
