We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team. Duties
* Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
* Lead and motivate a team of educators, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care, conducting regular risk assessments.
* Support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and early childhood education practices.
* Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling, and staff training.
* Drive initiatives that promote the nursery's values and enhance its reputation within the community.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting.
* Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or similar environment.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
