Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction
* Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development
* Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure compliance with safety standards
* Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste
* Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food safety practices
* Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to enhance guest experience
* Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
* Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers
