F4S is an award-winning education charity that has already connected over 710,000 students with the businesses shaping the future of their local communities. Through our OakNorth Startup Speaker Series, we are seeking to appoint a master’s student to act as Campus Ambassador—curating events and amplifying entrepreneurial insights to inspire secondary school students.
What you’ll do
Lead business outreach
Build relationships with local startups and scale-up businesses, encouraging them to share their career journeys with local school students.
Turn insights into influence.
Share top role takeaways through short LinkedIn posts and a quarterly Startup Career Briefing, helping more young people see themselves in entrepreneurial roles in the exciting startups in your community..
Advise F4S HQ:
Feed in real-time insight to help F4S better understand what skills are needed most for roles in the startup and scale-up sector.
What you’ll gain

Who you are
* At least a master’s-level student (MBA, MSc, MEng, MDes, etc.) enrolled at a university in Leeds
* A confident communicator who can cold-outreach a founder and have a meeting in the diary by the end of the week.
* Energised by entrepreneurship, social mobility, mentoring young people, able to commit to 10 hours per week and seeking part-time internship alongside your studies.
* Comfortable using LinkedIn as a professional outreach and storytelling tool.
Eligibility
* You must have the right to work in the UK (Student Visa holders welcome).
* You must be studying and living in Leeds
Ready to lead?
1. A 150-word pitch: How would you persuade a local startup or scale-up founder to mentor young people?
2. Your LinkedIn URL (as this will be a key tool in the role).
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed w/c 8th September 2025
Pay? £500 for the 10 weeks: Approx £ 10 per hour - plus a lifetime of contacts :-)
Location: Remote, but in-person coffees are hugely effective tools for your success.Start Date: w/c Monday 13th October 2025
