This role would suit a graduate in Electronics, Embedded Firmware, Software, App or similar engineering discipline and will give the user an excellent basis to build a great career from. Suitable training and opportunities to progress will be given.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
The main responsibility is to support the Smart Technology team and wider product development teams by supporting all software and hardware development and testing activities:
* Development and testing of electronics, embedded firmware, App and voice systems used within a range of showering and shower control devices, to ensure the product responds and operates as expected.
* Participate in the development of electronics, firmware and / or App including IoT technologies, including creating and managing associated documentation.
* Test and fault find new and existing products to ensure they perform correctly and to specification.
* Perform and support devising of suitable test procedures and plans for hardware, firmware, software and IoT
* Research and explore of new technologies to drive our development of Smart products forward and help us becoming a leader in this sector.
Personal Skill / Competencies
* Graduate in Electronics, Embedded Firmware, Software or App development with a good understanding of the key disciplines required - Electronics, Firmware and Software
* A good understanding of electromechanical assemblies, automation
* Great verbal and written communication skills
* A logical thinker and good problem solver.
