At Class People, we’re proud to work with schools across Gloucester, and we're currently seeking experienced SEN TAs to join our growing team. About the Role: As an SEN TA working with Class People, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of welcoming primary and secondary school settings, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD. You will: Deliver high-quality support on a 1:1 and small group basis Help students access the curriculum and reach their full potential Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and school staff Provide emotional and behavioural support in a nurturing environment What We’re Looking For: A minimum of 3 months' experience supporting children with SEN in schools Knowledge of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to learning support A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude Desirable (but not essential): Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent Team Teach, Makaton, or PECS training Access to transport for work across different school locations Why Join Class People?
