Do you want to make a significant difference in the lives of young people in your local community?
Then join Fleet Education Services as a professional Maths, English or Science Tutor – help us inspire the minds of the next generation.
We are a leading nationwide provider of alternative and supplementary education to schools and local authorities, supporting children from all backgrounds through one-to-one and small group tuition programmes. We provide quality assured tuition, delivered by the best educators who share our aim to ensure every learner we support thrives – we’re searching for passionate Tutors to help us realise our vision for education.
The role
We have received referrals for 10+ learners in Sidcup who require significant alternative provision. These learners need dedicated, in-person support within their own homes to enable their academic success and future development, as they are outside of mainstream schooling. Tuition has been requested for each learner in English, Maths, and Science at either primary or GCSE level, depending on their needs. Typically, 5-10 hours of tuition per week per subject will be required for each learner.
As a Tutor, your expertise will play a key role in improving your learner’s self-confidence and subject knowledge, supporting those who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations.
Supported by our dedicated delivery team, we will liaise with clients to ensure consistent tutoring opportunities. Tuition hours will be tailored to your availability, allowing you to tutor around other commitments.
We welcome applications from exceptional KS3 - KS4 educators specializing in English, Maths, or Science, as we have high demand for both GCSE and primary level tuition. Learners may have complex learning needs, and experience working with children with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, SEMH needs, or childhood trauma will be advantageous.
