We are enthusiastic, welcoming and proactive in supporting special interests We offer clinics in general and paediatric dermatology, a joint paediatric allergy-dermatology clinic, a pregnancy dermatoses clinic, patch testing clinics, biologics and systemics clinics, two week rule clinics, skin lesion clinics, complex cases clinics (attended by all consultants), minor operative lists, as well as dermatopathology meetings. INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD IN PERSON ON: 04/06/2026, The postholder will:
* Provide high-quality Consultant-level clinical care in Dermatology, including assessment, diagnosis, investigation and management of patients across outpatient, procedural, and multidisciplinary settings.
* Work collaboratively with the wider Dermatology team to deliver a safe, efficient and patient-focused service.
* Participate in MDT meetings, clinics, ward referrals and rapid assessment pathways.
* Share responsibility for delivering clinical leadership, improving patient experience, and supporting high standards of care across the department.
* Support and supervise junior medical staff, GPwERs, nursing colleagues and allied health professionals, contributing to teaching, training and educational activities.
* Engage in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and research activities.
* Contribute to service development, including the ongoing growth of digital innovation, AI-enabled pathways and collaborative work with Primary Care and regional specialist teams.
* Undertake Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs), including appraisal, job planning, teaching, audit, clinical management, and participation in departmental and Trust-wide meetings.
