Role Description
We’re hiring a Software Engineer for a full‑time, on‑site position in our Holmfirth office. In this role you will:
Design, implement, and maintain back‑end web services and APIs
Write clean, testable, object‑oriented code in C#/.NET (or your language of choice)
Collaborate with front‑end developers, UX designers, and DevOps to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and agile ceremonies
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and champion best practices
Contribute to architectural decisions, helping shape the roadmap for future products
Qualifications
Strong Computer Science foundation: data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
Programming & OOP: proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or another mainstream language; solid understanding of OOP principles
Familiarity with at least one modern framework or runtime (e.g. ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, Django, Node.js)
Comfortable with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with an attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
