Role: Financial Accountant

We are on the hunt for an experienced ‘Financial Accountant’ to come and join our Finance team… this could be your opportunity to join the sweet life of HARIBO!
Within this role you will report directly into our ‘Senior Manager- Accounting and Tax’ and work as part of a team of four. To enable HARIBO sugary success, within this role you will provide support to our Senior Manager as well as the wider Finance Accounting team in the production of accurate and timely reporting.
How you’ll contribute to the mix:

1. Preparing monthly Management Accounts (UK and Ireland)
2. Year-end audit and Statutory Accounts preparation
3. Assisting with Tax work and Projects (and liaising with external tax partners)
4. Preparing Group Accounts
5. Treasury- Cashflow reporting and forecasting
6. Supporting with process improvement projects
7. Fixed assts
8. Producing internal and external month end reports
9. Carrying out pre month end P&L account reviews
10. Group planning- forecasts and budgets
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
We are on the hunt for either a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified Accountant who has at least five years of financial and management accounts experience. Do you hit our sweet spot by having experience of working within both a large and complex organisation? Don’t worry previous FMCG or Food Manufacturing experience isn’t essential!
The possession of Financial Accounting knowledge- UK GAAP is also a must for sugary success within this role. Whilst also not forgetting a good working knowledge of sales, purchasing and general ledger principles.
Also calling all Excel gurus out there, you know who you are! Do you also have experience of navigating SAP? This isn’t essential however could be beneficial!
Communication skills are also essential for this role, we are looking for an individual who isn’t fazed by communicating to all levels within both our Finance space as well as other areas within the business.
