Detailed job description and main responsibilities • • Deliver supervised out-patient Hepatology clinics in the community • Provide in-hours middle grade support to inpatient Gastroenterology areas (shared across all IMT3 and above resident doctors in Gastroenterology) • Out of hours working will be GIM or Gastroenterology based dependent upon experience These duties are subject to review from time to time in the light of the changing requirements of the service. If alterations to the described duties are required these will be mutually agreed between the appointee, his/her Consultant colleagues, and the Trust For full details, please refer to the attached job description and job plan Person specification Professional Registration Essential criteria Full registration and a licence to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC) BLS/ ALS completed Desirable criteria Good Clinical Practice (for research) trained Professional Qualifications/Development Essential criteria BM BS or equivalent Desirable criteria MRCP or equivalent qualification Clinical Skills/Experience Essential criteria Intended for post foundation or IMT resident doctors planning future an StR training programme in gastroenterology Desirable criteria Prior experience in HPB endoscopy CME in research methodology or trial design Teaching, Audit & Research Essential criteria Evidence of participation in Clinical Audit.
