Our client are a specialist facilities service provider who deliver services to a commercial portfolio spanning the UK. They are hiring an FM Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to take ownership of the audit and compliance function across a large, secure estate.
Your new role
As FM Compliance Manager, you will head up both the compliance and audit functions within the Operational Support team. You will also lead the CAFM team, ensuring all asset data across the contract is effectively managed and up to date. From chairing working groups and developing long-term asset management plans, to enforcing audit regimes and reporting on statutory compliance you'll be at the centre of ensuring our services are safe, compliant, and always adding value.
Your work will involve producing high-quality documentation, managing performance reports, owning the Forward Additional Services Plan (FASP), and supporting lifecycle management strategies with technical leads. You'll liaise closely with internal teams and client-side stakeholders, playing a central role during audits, risk reviews, and quality assurance checks.
You'll also play a crucial role in managing compliance with standards including SFG20, SOP19/02, EM02, and JSP375, helping to drive best practice and efficiency across the board. As a trusted expert, you'll provide technical support to site teams, supply chains, and end users while championing safety and supporting change management initiatives across the estate.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience in managing FM compliance via CAFM systems for large commercial properties and estates. You will also require:
Technical background and qualifications are highly desirable (electrical, mechanical, building services etc.).
Knowledge and experience working with CAFM systems.
Contract compliance and performance knowledge and experience (KPIs, dissecting contracts etc.).
Experience in leading teams.
