Are you a detail-oriented Planner looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We're looking for a proactive Planner to join our Birmingham Highways Maintenance Contract team based in Thimble Mill Lane. In this role you will develop and manage programmes for our Capital Works projects.
Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham - site based 5 days per week
Hours: 12-month Fixed Term 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £27,976 - £33,000 per year + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?
* Creating and maintaining project schedules, allocating resources effectively across multiple projects
* Tracking progress against milestones and preparing insightful reports for stakeholders
* Identifying potential scheduling conflicts and developing contingency plans
* Facilitating communication between planning and delivery teams
* Ensuring project timelines align with overall programme objectives
What are we looking for?
* Have proven experience in highways maintenance and project planning within capital works
* Are confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable working with project management tools
* Bring excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
* Communicate clearly and naturally build strong and effective relationships
* Enjoy problem-solving and take a proactive approach to risk management
