Job Details
We are currently seeking a part-time weekend lettings assistant to join our friendly and professional site team. The key responsibilities will be to:
* Open and lock up the school facilities for use by hirers and occasionally contractors and school staff.
* Prepare any resources/equipment required for use by any hirers or other users.
* Clean areas of the school as directed by the premises manager.
Salary: NJC Grade 2 £14.18 per hour
Hours of work: This is a 44 week a year job, 5 hours a week. Typically this will be on Saturday mornings but you may be asked to work occasionally on a Sunday. Generally shifts are 8:30 am until 1:30pm on Saturdays.
This role is open to any applicants, but we have found these are particularly suited to students studying at college or university. Successful candidates may occasionally be offered additional employment in the school summer holidays assisting with site team works. We would also consider job shares.
Due to Health and Safety requirements applicants must be over 17 years.
What You Need to Succeed
These are physically active roles, and it will involve some manual handling. You will be working alone for the most part. We are looking for conscientious individuals who can provide an effective and efficient standard of cleaning.
