🎯 Your Mission
As our Midlands Business Development Manager, you’ll be the engine driving new opportunities, nurturing warm leads, and developing strong partnerships across the region. You’ll work closely with our sales, marketing, and design teams to spark new ideas, consult with customers, and help bring dream play environments to life. 🌳✨
🔑 Key Responsibilities
🧩 Lead Generation & Sales
• Build strong, meaningful relationships with schools and organisations looking to elevate their outdoor spaces 🤝
• Develop smart, effective strategies to exceed sales targets 🎯
• Manage the full sales journey — from first hello to closed deal ✍️
🌿 Client Engagement & Consultation
• Carry out on-site consultations and surveys using digital + manual tools 📏📸
• Work hand-in-hand with designers to craft imaginative, engaging play area proposals 🎨
• Ensure every client feels understood, valued, and supported
🚀 Growth & Market Development
• Identify exciting new opportunities across the Midlands
• Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity 🔍
• Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities 🌐
📊 Reporting & Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing to shape impactful collateral and content
• Provide senior management with insights, performance updates, and customer feedback

• 3+ years in business development, sales, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills 💬
• Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities 🧠
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, ambitious, self-motivated attitude
💼 Job Details
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
Additional Pay:
• Performance bonus up to £8k per year + uncapped past target % 🎉
