You will be instrumental in managing the commercial aspects of multiple renewals projects over a 5-year framework. Our portfolio includes work for local authorities, Network Rail, environmental agencies, and private developers. Projects typically encompass infrastructure works such as: Roads and bridges Footbridges and tunnels Underbridges and flood alleviation schemes Embankments and rail platforms Currently, we are delivering several high-profile infrastructure projects and long-term frameworks, including Civils Asset Management (CAM), Renewals Framework, and a slab track framework. The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the commercial team, supporting Commercial Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors in the daily management of various civil engineering and rail contracts. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the commercial management across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget Preparing accurate and timely estimates and pricing submissions Resolving pricing and contractual issues with clients Maintaining effective client liaison Collaborating with Site Managers to gather on-site information Managing subcontractor relationships Handling change management and issuing early warnings Administering contracts (NEC/NR forms) Preparing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) Final account preparation and settlement What We’re Looking ForTo excel in this role, you should have: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a civil engineering environment Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (HNC/HND/Degree) Solid contractual knowledge, particularly with NEC or Network Rail bespoke contracts Experience working in a contracting environment Rail sector experience is advantageous but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience Company car or allowance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with additional days based on service) Up to 3 volunteer days annually Contributory pension scheme Life insurance Westfield Health Cash Plan & Rewards Ongoing professional development and clear career progression pathways A supportive and safe working environment Employee forums providing a platform for your voice and ideas If you're ready to take the next step in your civil engineering career and work on exciting projects with a forward-thinking company, we want to hear from you!
