The Opportunity :
Our Client, is one of Europes leading manufacturers of sustainable timber and aluminium-clad windows, doors, and faade systems. With a strong presence in the UK market and a reputation for innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility, they are expanding their technical team to support a growing portfolio of commercial and residential projects.
The role
AsFaade Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of bespoke faade solutions, working closely with architects, contractors, and internal teams. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of faade design, ensuring compliance with performance standards, and supporting project delivery from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating with design consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
* Producing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and performance documentation.
* Ensuring compliance with UK building regulations, sustainability targets, and NorDans quality standards.
* Supporting testing, mock-ups, and installation processes.
* Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
Experience Required :
* A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in faade design and delivery, ideally within the UK market.
* Strong technical knowledge of timber, aluminium, and composite faade systems.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Experience working with Scandinavian or European faade systems.
* Familiarity with CWCT standards and BIM workflows.
* Membership of RIBA, CIBSE, or similar professional bodies.
