We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Teacher to join our specialist team at a vibrant and nurturing school in Stretford that supports children with a wide range of complex learning needs, including ASD, PMLD, SLD, and medical or sensory needs.
Our pupils require bespoke, engaging and accessible learning experiences - and we're looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, innovation and patience to the role every single day.
🔹 About the Role:
Plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons tailored to a diverse range of abilities and needs
Lead a small class of pupils with high staff-to-child ratios and strong multi-agency support
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to meet each pupil's EHCP targets
Foster a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive classroom environment
Monitor progress closely and adapt teaching strategies to maximise pupil engagement and achievement
🔹 About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Primary or Specialism preferred
Experience working with children with complex needs and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties
Strong understanding of SEN best practice, sensory learning, and alternative communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, etc.)
Patient, flexible and resilient approach
Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills
