Job Description
* Conducting feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
* Assessing and managing risk
* Managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures
* Handling contractual correspondence
* Managing professional and trade staff and delegating responsibilities as necessary
* Monitoring project progress and keeping in contact with construction managers
* Ensuring material supplies are available on site
* Providing financial progress reports to senior managers
The Successful Applicant
A successful Planned Works QS should have:
* An undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies
* Excellent mathematical and IT skills
* Proficiency in risk assessment
* Experience in preparing tender and contract documents
* Exceptional negotiation skills
