Teaching Assistant
Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire (PE11)
Pay: £103 - £110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: Asap
Contract: Long term to permanent
Long Term Futures is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a newly established specialist SEN school in the Spalding area. The school supports children and young people aged 2-19 with learning difficulties, disabilities and social, emotional and mental health needs.
The setting focuses on small-group learning, high levels of staff support and personalised approaches. Pupils are supported to build confidence, regulate emotions and re-engage with education through a curriculum centred on practical learning, life skills and independence.
Your Role
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
Assist with practical, hands-on learning activities
Encourage positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement
Support pupils to develop independence, communication and social skills
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

Individuals with experience in education, care, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching or similar
People who are patient, resilient and passionate about supporting children and young people
