Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1 to M6/UP3)
This job is Full Time; however, Part Time would also be considered (hours to be discussed at interview).
It is offered on a Permanent basis.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified, and ambitious person to teach Mathematics across the full ability range at Corfe Hills School. The ability to teach at GCSE is essential, and the ability to teach at A level is desirable. As a classroom practitioner, you should demonstrate exceptional classroom practice and be able to motivate and inspire students. This will involve 100% commitment to our vision, captured in our strapline “High Expectations ¦ Exceptional Individuals”.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class(es), ensuring equality of opportunity for all
* Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct
* Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher's professional position
* Work proactively and effectively in collaboration with learners, parents/carers, AC members, other staff, and external agencies in the best interests of pupils
* Act within the statutory frameworks which set out professional duties and responsibilities, in line with the duties outlined in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards
* Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school and Trust.
With the ability to:
* Adapt teaching to support learning
* Apply a variety of skills to effectively motivate the full range of learners
* Assess children, use AFL effectively, and plan accordingly
* Hold high expectations of behaviour and implement effective strategies to support this
* Build positive and productive professional relationships with parents and other stakeholders (e.g., governors/LSC members)
* Work effectively as a member of a team
