Job Description: Home Manager Bayford House Care Home (Newbury, RG20 8LB)
Permanent Full Time – 40 hours per week.

About the Role
You will lead and inspire a multi‑disciplinary team, providing outstanding, personalised care to our residents. You’ll manage all aspects of the home, identify business opportunities, manage budgets, take responsibility for operating profit, and ensure regulatory compliance across all relevant areas.
As a key external representative, you will strengthen the Bupa brand through strong relationships with Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, plus an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification.
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic mind, capable of making a positive difference within a heavily regulated sector.
* Ability to develop an environment focused on continuous improvement.
* Effective communicator with a confident, influential leadership style.
* Will need to become registered with the regulator. Occasional out‑of‑hours or evening work may be required.
