Role : Exams Officer Hours : 36.25 per week Salary : £24,723.00 - £27,900.00 Location : Stretford Campus (although requirements across the Group may require cover at other sites) The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Exams Officer to join the wider Exams Team. The Role: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Examinations Officer to join The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) as our Examinations Officer for our Stretford campus, playing a leading role in realising our vision to unlock the potential and foster the success of all our learners. Main responsibilities: Take the lead in a range of examination team functions. Use system knowledge to create exam board data and submit exam registrations, entries and amendments. Develop, contribute and review the examination entry and accreditation processes. Develop, contribute and promote administrative systems to enhance the smooth running of examinations and assessments. Support the Examinations Team Leader with the issue of results to students. Assist in securing the availability of appropriately trained staff at all stages of the exams and assessment process. Provide advice, guidance and support to all relevant college staff, including distance learning, partnership staff and sub-contractors. Guarantee the integrity of all assessments offered, through compliance with guidelines and regulations imposed by the Joint Council for Qualifications and all Awarding Organisations. Compile timetables to cover all aspects of the assessment calendar, ensuring that all related practical arrangements are met in a timely manner. Deputise for the Examinations Team Leader as required. Knowledge of Awarding Organisation portals and Examination processes/procedures together with previous experience of working within an Examinations environment is desirable but full training will be available.
